Recently, a ’prejudice map’ drawn on the basis of big data, which reflects
netizens’ impressions of various provinces and regions went viral. According to
the map, people in northern China think that making money is easier in the
south, while people in southern China think that the residents in the north are
violent. It is not difficult to see the sign of geographical bias behind these
’labels’.
近日，一幅以大量的数据为基础而描绘的“偏见地图”开始广泛流传，这幅图反映了网民对各省市和地区的印象。根据地图显示，中国北方的人们认为，在南方赚钱是更容易的，而南方人认为，北方居民是粗暴的。不难看出这些“标签”的背后存在地域偏见的迹象。
With the rapid development of society and the mobility of population, how
outsiders and locals view each other has become an important issue. If people
judge others with the ’colored glasses’, they will inevitably form stereotypes.

comments’ to a province will likely cause widespread prejudice.

tolerance and understanding.
