As is subtly revealed in the drawing, two people are travelling by boat in a river. One of them is throwing somethinginto the river. Unfortunately, there have been too muchrubbish in the river, such as fish bone, plastic boxes, banana pills and so on.
What the picture conveys to us is thought-provoking and the picture of the cartoonist is to draw our attention to the pollution of our environment. Nowadays, with the rapid development of economy and society, our environment has been greatly deatroyed. On the one hand, water pollution is increasingly serious. The number of fish has been greatly reduced. If we let this continue, we would not know where the fish will be in the future. On the other hand,too much carbon dioxide which is released into the air leads to global warming and a lot of sulfur dioxid leads to acid rain. There are manysimilar examples and all of them can prove to us how serious our environment has been.
On the basis analysis above, it is imperitive for us to take serious measures to protect our environment. To begin with, the government should make strict laws to punish those who destroy our environment. Moreover, it is of importance to enhance the awareness of people that all of the nature resources are important to us. We humans could not live without water,air, animals and so on. Hence, it is the duty of everyone to protect our environmrnt. We humans should keep harmonious with environment.
