As is vividly depicted in the picture, two tourists sitting on a sightseeing boat and enjoy the scenery. Roundabout, the lake is seriously polluted and covered with various kinds of rubbish, dead fishes, fruit skin, plastic bottles etc. But the tourists seem unawareness of this situation and continue to discard their garbage to the lake.
Admittedly, the cartoonist is trying to attract our attention to the issue of tourist site’s environmental problems. In fact, this problem has become the source of greatest complaint in a great many developing countries. Owing to the unawareness of environmental protection of tourist attractions, many resorts are suffered destruction. If we let this situation continue as it is, we do not know where the scenery will be in the future.
From my point of view, we should work out concrete solutions to this problem. For one thing, our government should give rise to it and make relevant regulations to punish those who destruct our scenery environment. For another, we should cultivate the awareness of people that protecting tourist site is everyone’s responsibility and duty as a citizen. Only by doing so can our scenery be always attractive.
