Wherever we look, the work of human are the most powerful, also the most destructive factor to change the nature. Fertile lands, fresh waters, and countless creatures that give us civilization,wealth ,and happiness are damaged when we make use of them, this reality is showed in the photo above in the presence of, a particular case, water pollution. The environment is important for the existence and development of our civilization. The nation that destroys its environment destroys itself. It is about time to protect the nature.
There is only one evil in the environment problems, ignorance. So, in my opinion, two things are necessary for saving the environment. The first work we ought to do is let people know that the environment problem is threaten our lives and the mistakes we have done. "Even brute beasts and wandering birds do not fall into the same traps twice", it is true. But are the human do not make the same mistake twice? It depends. Remember, those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. Thus the first thing we ought to do is the most important. The second work we ought to do is make effort now. Do not wait to protect the environment till it is damaged, but protect it by making use of it appropriately.
However, to protect the nature, two things are needed, the priority and not quite enough time. And I believe thatonce the two things illustrated above have done, things will be change.
