1. elaborate
vt. 详细制定；详尽阐述；[生理学]加工；尽心竭力地做；
adj.精心制作的；精巧的；复杂的；（结构）复杂的；
[例句]He is known for his elaborate costumes.
他以着装精致而闻名。
2. elevate
vt. 提高；提升；举起；鼓舞；
[例句]He was elevated to the post of prime minister.
他升任总理。
3. eliminate
vt. 淘汰；排除，消除；除掉；干掉；
[例句]The Sex Discrimination Act has not eliminated discrimination in employment.
《反性别歧视法》并未根除工作中的歧视。
4. elite

5. eloquent
