英语词组也是考研英语要掌握的一部分，可以提一定的高英语水平。
1. draw up
草拟；折叠；（使）停下；排好队伍；
[例句]They agreed to draw up a formal agreement.
他们同意起草一份正式协议。
2. dress up
打扮；穿上特殊服装；（使）装扮成另一种样子；为取乐和假扮而穿别人的衣服；
[例句]You do not need to dress up for dinner.
你们不必特意盛装赴宴。
3. drop by
顺便来访；
[例句]She and Danny will drop by later.
她和丹尼一会儿要来坐坐。
4. dry out
晾干；（使）变干，（使）干涸；（使）戒（酒、毒等）；
[例句]He checked into Cedars Sinai Hospital to dry out.
他住进雪松西奈医院去戒酒。
5. dry up
枯竭；（使…）干涸；擦干碗碟；住口；
[例句]As the day goes on, the pollen dries up and becomes hard.
日子一天天过去，花粉干结成了硬块。
6. drop off
减少；落下；送下车；不知不觉入睡；
[例句]I must have dropped off to sleep.
我肯定是睡着了。
7. drop out
离开，退出；掉出；脱扣；违世；
[例句]He'd dropped out of high school at the age of 16.

[例句]Put on a spurt, or you'll fall behind.
