【析句】这句话是较复杂的主语从句的应用。主句it should be obvious to the dimmest executive中，it作形式主语，真正的主语是that引导的主语从句。主句从句的基本句型是that trust is easily destroyed and hugely expensive...and that few things are more likely to destroy...than a company.之所以说它复杂，首先是因为主语从句是由两个并列的that从句组成的，前个从句中，要注意that most valuable of economic assets中的that是“那个”的意思，并非连词；后个从句中，注意more...than a comany后company有现在分词结构letting sensitive personnal date get into...作定语, 相当于which lets...。

【析句】先抓主干，the theft of imformation overshadowed a hugely important decision by FIC. 再看起修饰作用的成分：disclosed on June 17th过去分词作定语修饰the theft of imformation.by America's FTC后that puts corporate America on notice/that regulators will act /if frims fail to...中，第一个that引导定语从句修饰FTC，第二个that引导同位语从句，引导notice的内容，同时同位语从句中还有if引导的条件状语从句。
